About the role:
We are seeking to recruit a new Pizza Chef to join our fantastic kitchen team at Fratelli Roe Valley.
This is a very busy and demanding role so experience working in a high volume restaurant/kitchen is preferred. Are you a passionate Pizza Chef? If so we would love to hear from you!
About The Role
The main responsibilities for this position include;
* The preparation of local fresh produce and cooking of various cuisines to a very high standard.
* Running the pizza section and taking responsibility for all dishes in your section ensuring consistent presentation every time.
* Working within a team to ensure high standards are consistently met ensuring all meals are delivered on time.
* Manage food standards and quality across all stages of food preparation and production ensuring high standards are consistently met.
* Working alongside the Head Chef and team to create and develop daily and weekly specials.
* Ensuring minimum wastage and implementing new ideas for reducing wastage.
* Working within and maintaining all associated Health, Safety, and Hygiene guidelines/procedures while working.
* Comply with company food safety policies and legislation.
* Maintain high levels of cleanliness at all times and making sure your personal appearance and uniform is in line with the required hotel standards at all times.
The Person:
Applicant must:
* Have at least 1-years’ experience working as a Chef /Pizza Chef.
* Have experience working within a busy kitchen environment (preferred).
* Have a keen eye for detail and great organisational skills.
* Enjoy working as part of a team, be able to multi-task, and work well under pressure.
* Hold basic Food Hygiene Qualification or above.
* Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days/evenings and weekends.
* Must have a good, pleasant manner and be well presented.
