We have a fabulous new role for well-established client of ours who are looking for an Import Merchandiser.
Based in Leicester, you will be part of an established team and have an understanding of critical path and on sea freight and shipping. It's imperative to be organised and have great communication skills keeping customers updated on delivery dates and monitoring shipments are on time.
Main Responsibilities will include:
* Updating customers on delivery dates, and keeping them informed on any changes
* Experience in managing critical path ensuring a smooth process from order placement through to delivery
* Working to internal critical path deadlines and liaising daily with factories overseas
* Updating customers on delivery dates, and keeping them informed on any changes
* Closely monitor and manage deliveries ensuring shipments are on time and flagging any potential delays
* To be able to manage multiple shipments from all over the world, to consolidate and shipping to be on time
* Good administration skills
Person Specifications:
1. Must have excellent knowledge on Microsoft packages, and be computer literate
2. Previous supplier experience required, knitwear knowledge advantageous but not essential
3. Hard working, positive attitude
4. Attention to detail, accurate but can work quickly when under pressure
