Description
As a Financial Accountant at Tillo you will contribute significantly to develop a finance team that is of the highest operational quality for a fast growing, Private Equity backed FinTech business. With the finance team’s focus on delivering excellent service to customers, suppliers and business stakeholders.
You'll play a leading role in supporting the growth of the business, driving process improvements and taking ownership of the financials of a recently acquired subsidiary of Tillo to build a best-in-class finance function.

If successful, you will
* Manage weekly reconciliation of customer and supplier ledger accounts and sign off of finance team reconciliations and payments
* Produce monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
* Ensure the highest level of financial control is adhered to within the team together with nominal ledger integrity and accuracy
* Prepare financial statements for audit requirements
* Aid with tax compliance (VAT, R&D, PAYE and corporation tax), ensuring all payment deadlines are met
* Look after the finance operations of the department specifically purchase and sales ledger control activities and external query management
* Ensure that reconciliations are complete and investigate and resolve differences
* Resolve queries that arise from internal and external sources in a timely and efficient manner
* Support the Financial Controller with key information for strategic planning and delivery of finance projects
* Assist with parent company financials as required
* Confidently lead & develop the finance team (2)
* Build effective relationships with external advisors and key stakeholders
About you
You're a fully qualified accountant who is detail oriented, and used to working in a busy environment with competing priorities. A natural problem solver, with proven & demonstrable technical ability.
You're able to work from our Hove office twice a week, and our London office once a week.

* Experience of problem solving and reconciliation resolution
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Advanced excel experience
* A customer focused approach
* Management experience
And, it'd be great (but not essential!) if you have some experience with:
* Xero
* Working in a fast growth, FinTech environment
