The Role:
* Support driving Information Security compliance across the organisation
* Review and develop relevant Information Security documentation in line with recognised standards and national standards
* Identify vulnerabilities and provide guidance on information security, risk management, and standards
* Work with the team to assess new legislation and national guidance on information security procedures
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* At least 18 months experience in a related Information Security / Cyber Security role, supporting organisational compliance and documentation management
* A strong awareness of IT environments, preferably with experience in IT support roles
* Good understanding of Information Security concepts and practices
* Relevant qualification in Information Security or Cyber Security
* Knowledge of ISO27000 standards
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising within the team and with digital staff
* Availability to work at least 3 days per week in Bradford or Wakefield offices
* Experience delivering projects in a Public Sector environment is highly beneficial
* 5+ years UK residency, with no extended periods outside the UK, to meet security vetting requirements
Preferred:
* Experience with recognised cybersecurity frameworks such as CESG, RMADS, NIST, DPAA, etc., is advantageous but not essential
Note: You must demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years to meet security vetting requirements.
