As a Retail Sales Colleague, no prior technical knowledge is required. All new colleagues attend a two to three-day induction, either virtually or at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. This training provides valuable skills and knowledge to help you sell, serve, and support our customers, including supplier training, product demos, and testing the latest products to build your confidence.
Our Sales Colleagues work flexibly during our store hours, which generally include weekends. Our stores are open 7 days a week, typically from 9am to 8pm, with local variations.
Role overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Asking the right questions to match customers with products.
2. Making every customer interaction memorable.
3. Offering support services such as delivery, installation, recycling, and payment options.
4. Contributing to the overall sales performance of the store.
5. Working across different departments and product ranges.
6. Supporting store operations by completing various tasks.
