Duties
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring quality and freshness.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service at all times.
* Handle cash transactions and assist with basic maths for order processing.
* Support team members by helping with various tasks as needed during busy periods.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Skills
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations.
* Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks during peak hours.
* A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.
