We are looking for a proactive Finance and Accountancy Assistant to join our Finance Department and play a key role in supporting essential financial services across the Council. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, keen to learn, and committed to providing excellent customer service. As a Finance and Accountancy Assistant, you will help deliver a range of financial functions that support the smooth running of the Council. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Producing and distributing reports to council officers and departments Supporting the delivery of accountancy services through monthly monitoring and reconcillations Provide administrative support to treasury management function and the wider finance team Working to agreed deadlines and standards to ensure accuracy, efficiency and excellent service This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with numbers, and providing high quality administrative support in a fast paced environment.
