We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Estate Assistant to deliver high‑quality estate services across ourmunities. You will play an important frontline role, providing professional cleaning, gardening and grounds maintenance services while positively engaging with customers, colleagues and contractors.
This is a mobile role requiring a full UK driving licence.
Your new role
1. Delivering a high‑quality, cost‑effective cleaning, gardening and grounds maintenance service in line with agreed standards and timescales
2. Representing the organisation on site, building positive relationships with customers, colleagues and contractors
3. Maintaining estate grounds to specification and reporting issues such as fly tipping, graffiti, repairs and safeguarding concerns
4. Recording customer feedback and contributing to service improvements
5. Safely operating, storing and maintaining equipment in line with Health & Safety, COSHH and PPE requirements
6. Keepingpany vehicles clean, safe andpliant at all times
7. Accurately recording workpleted, inspections and activity to support service charge accountability
8. Supporting the training and development of apprentices
9. Identifying and appropriately reporting safeguarding concerns
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
10. Proven experience delivering grounds maintenance across a variety of sites
11. Knowledge of lawn care, shrubs and plant maintenance
12. A strong customer‑focused approach with a proven track record of customer satisfaction
13. Ability to carry out physical tasks safely and in line with Health & Safety requirements
14. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH and PPE
15. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
16. Confidence using equipment safely and effectively
17. Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
18. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture (or equivalent: RHS, City & Guilds, HND)
19. PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC certificates
20. Experience using mobile working devices ( tablets)
21. Knowledge of safe andpliant use of horticultural pesticides and fungicides
