GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join a school in the Penistone (S36) area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver thought-provoking lessons, encourage critical thinking, and help students explore moral, spiritual, and cultural perspectives. As an RE Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. Inspire students to explore religious, moral, and ethical issues thoughtfully and respectfully. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students feel valued. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning. Contribute to extracurricular activities or school events related to RE and cultural understanding. Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding. Requirements for RE Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate students of different abilities. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
