Job summary We are currently seeking a Plastic Surgery Coordinator at Great Western Hospital, Swindon who can work within the hospital on a full time, permanent basis (37.5hrs per week). Main duties of the job The Plastic Surgery Coordinator will support Cancer Services as an integral member of our multi-disciplinary teams, providing a pro-active and facilitative clinical pathway navigation service by supporting clinical teams in ensuring that patient care is delivered in an effective and timely manner in accordance with national guidance. To provide administrative support services to the Consultants and clinical staff in the Plastics department and provide an accurate bookings process to ensure we can deliver the best service for patients. To facilitate a smooth running of the department and the service by acting as a focus of communication with patients and their families, GP's and Cancer Services.
