Contracts Manager – Marine Civil Engineering Office : Eastleigh, Hampshire, mixture of site and office bases Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 car allowance or EV scheme Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Type: Permanent, Full-Time We’re looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established, growing civil engineering business with a strong presence across the South Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure works in a company that values long-term development, open communication, and team culture. As a Contracts Manager, you’ll oversee major projects across marine and coastal environments, from planning through to completion. Based primarily in Eastleigh, you’ll work closely with project and operational teams across sites located between Chichester and Weymouth Key Responsibilities * Lead marine civil engineering * Manage site teams, subcontractors, and engineering staff * Oversee commercial performance, programme delivery, and risk management * Ensure full compliance with NEC contracts * Maintain a strong health & safety culture and lead by example * Mentor and develop junior talent across the business What We’re Looking For * Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering * 10–15 years’ experience in marine civil engineering * Hands-on experience ideally started as a Site Engineer * Strong understanding of NEC contracts, MS Project, and AutoCAD (preferred) * Background in Tier 1 delivery environment or strong Tier 2 * Proven leadership, commercial awareness, and programme management skills * Commitment to long-term roles – we value longevity and loyalty What’s in It for You * £80,000 – £90,000 salary (DOE) * car allowance or EV salary sacrifice scheme * Paid overtime * pension (private scheme) * Holiday * Ad hoc flexibility for remote working – typically 2–3 days in office, rest on site * A supportive, close-knit team that truly values its people Ready to Make Waves in Marine Civils?
