We are seeking a skilled and committed ALN Teaching Assistant to join the Hearing Resource Base in a welcoming primary school in Penarth. You will support Deaf and hearing-impaired pupils to access learning, communication and school life using British Sign Language (BSL). Key responsibilities include: Supporting pupils using BSL in class and small groups Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop communication skills Supporting Individual Development Plans (IDPs) Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing We are looking for someone who: Holds BSL Level 2 or above (essential) Has experience working with Deaf or hearing-impaired children (desirable) Is reliable, adaptable and a strong team player Has experience in a school setting or with children This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
