Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with occasional extended hours and weekends

We are currently recruiting for two part-time Trainee Dental Nurses to join our busy and growing practice in South Norwood, just a short journey from central Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on clinical experience and structured mentorship while working towards your dental nursing qualification.
About the Practice:
We are a well-established NHS and private practice, registered and monitored by the CQC, delivering high-quality dental care in a warm, modern environment. Our services include general check-ups, hygiene treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and smile makeovers.
As our patient base continues to grow, we are seeking individuals with drive and enthusiasm to support our clinical team while gaining valuable on-the-job training. You will be mentored by experienced dentists and receive full support throughout your dental nurse training.
Your Role:
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work alongside dentists, hygienists, and therapists to ensure patients receive excellent clinical care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain clinical areas to a high standard
Assist during a wide range of procedures, including radiography
Follow infection prevention and control protocols
Maintain accurate patient records, including dental charting and oral tissue assessments
Support and reassure patients before, during and after treatment
Provide oral health education under supervision
Assist in the event of medical emergencies in the practice
Adhere to GDC Scope of Practice and the British Association of Dental Nurses' Code of EthicsWhat We're Looking For:
Proof of enrolment on a GDC-approved dental nursing course
High standards of infection control and hygiene awareness
Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to detail
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour
At least the first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine
Right to work in the UK (valid visa and National Insurance number)
