This is a unique role of a Brand Manager from a licensing and retail background to take on a major global commercial role within a major player within the brand licensing space. Our client is looking for a high calibre and commercially switched on Brand Manager to oversee and manage key relationships with brand owners.
The ideal candidate :
* Will have strong skills in driving key commercials with major global studios and brand owners
* Will have strong understanding of the licensing industry ideally with some product experience ( within apparels)
* Will have experience of working with design and sales teams on developing product, driving the creative piece to lead the dialogue with key brand owners
* Will either come from fashion retail licensing or from licensors or licensee background with strong financial, commercial and product abilities
The role:
* You will own and drive all key commercials relating to the brands that you will handle
* You will ensure that all global sales teams (around 30 of them across EMEA) are doing their best for your brands
* You will provide world class, excellent full circle service right from owning the pitch, to developing the product in liaison with design and sales teams, right up to delivery
* You will lead and attend major business reviews with your brand owners and sales teams to develop strategy that will maximise commercial value for all parties
* Will involve some travel around Europe
This role will suit an internationally focussed, hands on and numbers driven individual with a strong sense of business development.
This is based in Leicester, reporting directly to the CEO.
