As our business continues to grow and thrive, an exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical / Nurse Endoscopist to become a Clinical Lead within our endoscopy service. This is a mobile role with InHealth, covering sites mainly in the South of England. In this key role, the Clinical Lead (non-medical) will be responsible for providing senior, clinical leadership for the Endoscopy service, usually within a region of sites. The role will involve the performance management of endoscopists, engaging in management meetings, undertaking investigations and acting as the site(s) clinical governance champion. The Clinical Lead will be supported by a Unit Manager / Lead Nurse. As an experienced Clinical / Nurse Endoscopist with InHealth, you will be expected to perform endoscopy procedures for both NHS and private patients. Experience You’ll need to be qualified and able to demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in the following areas: • Be a registered nurse or Allied Health Professional. • JAG accredited Endoscopist in Gastroscopy / Flexible Sigmoidoscopy/ Colonoscopy • Have the skills to carry out pre, peri and post-operative care • Be confident, independent and a problem solver • Have great organisational skills to successfully organise and arrange work for yourself and others in your team • Understand both the clinical and commercial elements of the service/contract and be able to respond quickly and efficiently if needed • Understand the quality issues and clinical governance associated with endoscopy services • Be a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology • Demonstrate understanding of JAG requirements in an Endoscopy Service • Show understanding of current NHS waiting time standards • Show diligence in CPD, especially in Endoscopy • Have really good communication skills – written, verbal and listening • Have prescribing rights or qualification (desirable) Whats in it for you We offer a fantastic benefits package, which is available through a mobile-enabled rewards platform, called InJoy.
