Overview
The Business Analyst will contribute to the business analysis activities on a large transformation programme. The Business Analyst will undertake strategic analysis activities to ensure the digital and business solutions meet requirements and satisfy the quality expectations of both Information Services and business; they will also take a significant role in managing the changes being introduced.
Responsibilities
* Gather, validate and document requirements by facilitating workshops with technical and business subject matter experts.
* Map complex data, information and business processes, creating process maps using schematic diagrams to support and align on the understanding of change impacts and efficiency opportunities.
* Manage the changes being introduced as part of the transformation programme.
Contract Information
The role is a fixed‑term contract, initially until 29 February 2028 with an additional position ending 30 September 2027. Please specify in the cover letter which contract duration you are applying for.
Location and Hours
The Business Analyst is required to be in Portsmouth on the first day of work and occasionally as required. Remote working is available for this contract role. The position is ideally suited to a candidate seeking full‑time hours; there may be some flexibility to offer reduced hours if required.
