We're working with a well-established Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) in South East London to recruit an Estates Manager to lead and deliver high-quality housing and estate management services across a diverse portfolio of social housing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a community-led organisation making a real difference on the ground. As Estates Manager, you'll play a key leadership role, ensuring the delivery of efficient, resident-focused services, and driving estate improvements that enhance the lives of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day housing management services, including tenancy management, estate services, and customer engagement.
2. Lead on estate improvements and capital works, including the delivery and management of major works projects.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety, statutory obligations, and internal policies.
4. Work closely with residents, contractors, and local stakeholders to promote a strong sense of community and high service standards.
5. Manage, support, and develop a small team to ensure consistent service delivery.
About You:
6. To be considered for this role, you will need:
7. Minimum 3 years' experience managing housing services within a social housing environment.
8. At least 2 years' experience managing major works and estate improvements, with a strong understanding of contract and project management.
9. A CIH Level 4 qualification, housing-related degree, or similar professional qualification - or demonstrable experience and willingness to gain such qualifications.
10. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
11. A resident-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality services.
