Vehicle Technician Needed in Southport
1. Location: Southport
2. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 08:30 - 12:30
3. Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic (Senior Tech) + Bonus
4. OTE: £46,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a friendly and supportive culture. The company offers great benefits, ongoing career development, and specialist training.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
13. Perform service, diagnostic, and repair work efficiently and to high standards
14. Complete repair orders, service check sheets, battery test reports, and other necessary documentation
15. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer standards
16. Ensure all chargeable labour and workshop consumables are accurately recorded
17. Work collaboratively within a skilled team to maintain high-quality service delivery
What We’re Looking For:
18. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds or BTEC) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
19. Extensive experience working in a franchised or prestige dealership
20. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
21. Ability to work efficiently and meet given timescales
22. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to first-time fixes
23. Strong teamwork and communication skills
24. Willingness to learn and keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology
