Procurement Manager – Utility Scale Solar & BESS

I’m currently working with a leading EPC contractor in the renewable energy space who are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Manager to support their growing pipeline of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects.
This is a key hire into the business and would suit someone who enjoys owning procurement end-to-end and playing a real part in delivering major infrastructure projects.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for leading strategic sourcing and supply chain across large-scale renewable projects, working closely with engineering, construction and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing procurement across modules, inverters, batteries, transformers and subcontracted works
* Leading RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations and PO execution
* Coordinating logistics and delivery schedules using Procore and ERP systems
* Managing contracts under FIDIC and NEC frameworks
* Supporting supply chain risk management and overall project performance
What they’re looking for:
* 5+ years’ experience in procurement within energy, EPC or infrastructure
* Strong knowledge of Solar PV and/or BESS technologies
* Hands-on experience with Procore and ERP tools
* Solid contract management experience (FIDIC / NEC)
* Confident negotiator with strong supplier management skills
