Job Description:
Qualified School & College Careers Adviser (Brentford) - onsite delivery only.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Career Adviser to join our team for three days per week from September 2025. In this role, you will:
* Provide high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students.
* Support the Careers Lead in achieving and maintaining the Gatsby Benchmarks.
* Ensure CEIAG Google Classrooms are regularly updated with current Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant resources.

Role Details:
This is a term-time only role, 3 days a week (7.4 days per week) starting from September 2025.
You will have:
* Level 6 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG)
* Experience working with young people, preferably in a school or college setting
* Thorough knowledge of education, employment, training, and personal development opportunities available for young people, including labour market information.
* Ability to provide careers advice and guidance in one-to-one settings or group workshops/assemblies to support students' career aspirations.
* Experience in arranging career talks and activities for students.
* Ability to engage and inspire young people, including those with SEND and from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as their parents/carers.
* Support the Schools or College Careers Leader in implementing and enhancing the school's careers program to meet Gatsby Benchmarks.
* Demonstrate commitment to children's rights, equal opportunities, and diversity.
* Undertake administrative duties to ensure all delivery evidence is complete and compliant with contract and quality standards.
* Experience working with vulnerable groups, including those with SEND.
Our Careers Advisers are expected to work flexibly and independently but will be supported as part of the wider team. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
