Audio Prep Supervisor Surrey 35 hours per week £37,500 - £40,000 The Role: As Audio Prep / De-prep Supervisor, you will oversee the preparation, de-preparation and testing of equipment before and after it is sent to events while supporting coordinating a team of prep technicians. You will work a 5 day week which could involve weekends. This is an ideal role for a senior prep technician or an experienced audio technician / sound engineer, looking to take a step into a senior role within the touring industry. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing activity within the prep and de-prep department Coordinating equipment between departments for upcoming events Overseeing rack builds and system preparation Supervising testing and fault finding of equipment Supporting FOH sound engineers with system preparation Supervising a team of 15+ warehouse technicians Carrying out quality checks on prepared equipment Planning daily prep schedules for upcoming projects Assigning technicians to projects and prep tasks Ensuring equipment is ready for dispatch and meets operational standards Requirements: Background in live events as either a warehouse prep technician or sound engineer.
