gap technical are proud to be representing an established manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Deeside.
Performance Objectives
* Promote and Carry out Preventative Maintenance
* Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
* Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications
* Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines
* Installation of new machines and equipment when required
* Actively promote safe working practices
* Review and Advise on Engineering requirements
* Work with and Coordinate Contractors as and when required
* To contribute to company objectives and values
* To adhere to Company Rules / Health and Safety / Environmental Standards and Practices
* To attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.
* Continuously look for improvements to the service and for effective good practice within the role.
* Alignment with the company's core values
Person Specification
* Works well under pressure
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Technical knowledge of food process equipment and wrapping machines
* Excellent understanding of how the machinery that they are working with operates.
* To have excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
* Good interpersonal and management skills are always an asset.
* Welding/fabricating skills (desirable)
