Teaching Assistant/Support Staff

* Job Type: Full-time (5 days a week)
* Annual Salary: £24,000
* Start Date: ASAP or September
We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants/Support Staff to join various schools in Cranleigh. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to supporting students' educational and personal development. Positions are available for an immediate start or for those looking to begin in September.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in preparing and delivering educational materials and activities.
* Provide support to individual students and small groups to enhance their learning and development.
* Manage classroom resources and ensure they are available and prepared for lessons.
* Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and contribute to assessments.
* Support the management of classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a teaching assistant or educational support role is advantageous.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach to student welfare and learning.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement).
