Offer description

Can you inspire, energise and connect with young people aged 5–18?

Do you love creating fun, safe spaces where children and young people can be themselves, try new things and build confidence?

Are you looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference - while being part of a friendly, supportive team?

Airplay is the RAF Benevolent Fund’s (RAFBF) flagship youth support programme. Delivered by YMCA at 23 RAF stations across the UK, Airplay clubs offer exciting activities, creative sessions and opportunities for children and young people aged 5 to 18 - helping them grow, have fun and feel supported.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, positive casual staff to join our Airplay team at RAF Odiham and help create welcoming, energetic sessions that young people love coming back to.

When you’ll work
• Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
• Some sessions during school holidays
• Shifts usually last 2–3 hours, with opportunities for multiple sessions each week or longer evenings depending on the programme. While you’ll be based mainly at RAF Odiham, there may also be chances to support sessions at nearby Airplay locations

Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship and can only accept applications from individuals who already have the right to work in the UK.

As some roles involve working with vulnerable people, a Basic or Enhanced DBS check may be required following a conditional job offer.

We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. If you have applied for a similar role within the last 6 months and were unsuccessful, please consider whether your experience has significantly developed before reapplying.

One YMCA is committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process. Please let us know in advance if you require any adjustments to support your application.

We are an inclusive organisation that promotes equality of opportunity for all. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse workforce with a wide range of skills, experiences, and abilities
