Your Impact
* As a Senior Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of large‑scale construction and civil infrastructure projects, such as the redevelopment and refurbishment of Southampton Port.
* Your expertise in Primavera P6 and understanding of the NEC3/4 will be essential in developing and maintaining project schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About The Opportunity
* Project Scheduling – Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met.
* Resource Management – Allocating resources effectively and efficiently to meet project demands and timelines.
* Progress Monitoring – Tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
* Reporting – Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks.
* Compliance – Ensuring all project activities comply with NEC contracts and other relevant regulations and standards.
* Risk Management – Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project schedules and resource allocation.
* Collaboration – Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
* Documentation – Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance records.
Requirements
* Project Management – Proven experience managing large‑scale construction and civil infrastructure projects.
* Primavera P6 proficiency – Advanced knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
* NEC awareness – Strong understanding of NEC contracts and their application in construction projects.
* DCO experience – Development Consent Order infrastructure projects a plus.
* Analytical skills – Strong problem‑solving skills to identify and address project issues.
* Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Attention to detail – High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and reports.
* Team player – Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Travel flexibility – Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the UK as needed.
* Qualifications – Degree qualified and holding certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar.
