Station Manager - Belfast International
Location: Belfast International Airport
Reports to: Regional Operations Director, Western Europe
Lead Operational Excellence at Swissport
As a Station General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance, safety, and strategic growth at station level. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you’ll be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring financial and operational success across a dynamic and diverse workforce.

Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
1. Drive a positive safety culture by implementing and monitoring safety and security measures for people, equipment, facilities, and aircraft operations.
2. Ensure consistent application of people management practices and achieve high health, safety, and security standards.
P&L and Operational Performance
3. Take full ownership of the station’s P&L, meeting financial targets and identifying opportunities for improvement.
4. Manage budgets and propose investments in infrastructure, technology, and resources to optimize performance.
Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
5. Lead and develop a high-performing team to meet business objectives and comply with regulations.
6. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including airline and airport management, customs, and control authorities.
7. Promote employee engagement and recognition to foster a collaborative culture.
Service Excellence and Efficiency
8. Monitor and enhance quality standards, ensuring resource alignment for consistent service delivery.
9. Implement corporate KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety and operational workflows.
Business Growth and Strategy
10. Develop and maintain key customer relationships to secure new business and retain existing accounts.
11. Collaborate with the Regional Operations Director to align with strategic objectives and support growth initiatives.
Relationship Builder
12. Foster trust and collaboration across teams, stakeholders, and central support functions.
13. Drive a customer-focused culture, aligning services with evolving client needs to deliver exceptional value.
Qualifications
14. Excellent working knowledge of business management principles and practices, financial concepts, and key drivers of profitability and operational performance delivery.
15. A minimum of 3 years’ experience with significant P&L accountability and leadership of large teams.
