We are looking to fill an exciting new position at the Hospice to work with our volunteers and coordinate our volunteer activities. Are you our ideal candidate? We are supported by around 250 volunteers and our Hospice services, shops and fundraising efforts couldn’t run without the support of our fantastic volunteers. In this brand new role you will work within our People and Culture Team and will be our central point of contact for volunteering activities. This will include not only attracting, recruiting and inducting new volunteers but working with our brilliant team of existing volunteers to ensure they are supported in the work they do. As you will be developing new processes and policies previous proven experience of working with volunteers would be desirable but not essential. You will be a flexible and organised with an ability to work with different teams as well as on your own initiative. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will feel confident in speaking with small groups. You will thrive in a busy environment and will be able to deal with conflicting priorities and your IT skills will mean you are able to easily pull documents together. Our ideal candidate will bring an ability to develop efficient and engaging processes and systems to support our volunteering experience.
