Job Description:
We are recruiting for several Industrial Sewing Machinists to support the growth of our client based in rural Leicestershire, they are an independent manufacturer of Automotive seats.
We are recruiting for a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist who can join the team on a long term basis.
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri (early finish Friday)
Pay: Dependent on skillset, up to £14 per hour
In this position, your duties may include:
* Operating a twin needle sewing machine to assist with producing vehicle seating
* Lockstitch and Overlock.
* Following golden samples or precise requirements
* Performing own quality control
* Use various materials including Leather
Our ideal candidate will:
* Be familiar/ have experience in lockstitch and overlock.
* It is advantageous if you have used twin stitch machines
* Have experience working with leather
* Be a good communicator
* Be literate as paperwork is involved
