What You'll Be Doing:
* Designing, creating, and delivering technical infrastructure code or services to improve the performance of customer-facing applications.
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
* Taking responsibility for the stability and security of systems
* Communicating work status regularly to superiors
* Contributing to upgrades and standards for large-scale distributed systems
* Planning and demand forecasting, system tuning, and software performance analysis
* Defining best processes for the timely delivery of projects
What You'll Bring to the Role:
* Moderate experience in virtualization technologies like VMWare, OpenStack, Xen
* Knowledge of containerization (basic level)
* Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OPC
* Adept at Kafka, Cassandra, Apache Spark, HDFS
* Monitoring experience with Prometheus, Nagios, Icinga
* Experience with logging tools like Splunk or ELK stack
* Handling configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
* Comprehensive experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse, GoCD, GitLab)
* Entry-level knowledge of networking, including load balancing, routing, and switching
* Good command of Python, Bash, Go, Java
* Basic knowledge of databases (entry-level)
* Prior experience in system administration tasks such as patching and upgrading
