Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. You will support the Senior Accounts Administrator and General Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial operations across the business. This is a permanent office based position offering hrs a week Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Credit control and cash flow management
* Nominal ledger controls
* Cash book and petty cash management
* Processing supplier invoices and payments
* Setting up new customer and supplier accounts
* Bank reconciliations
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Statutory returns (CIS, Intrastats)
* Monthly management accounts
* Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts
* Updating and managing accounts and CRM software
* Liaising with external accountants
* Provide support to other departments, including purchasing
* General office administration as required
* Any other ad hoc duties
Requirements
* Experience in an accounts or finance administration role within an SME environment. (2 Years)
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of VAT, CIS, and statutory reporting
