About The Role
The Multi-skilled Engineers Fabric bias roles are key to delivering reliable maintenance engineering in both hard and soft services, supporting Queen Mary’s Strategic Plan to enable staff and students to work and learn efficiently and effectively. These roles are located at either Whitechapel or Charterhouse Square campus.
About You
The successful candidates will demonstrate skills in their discipline, be self-motivated, and work well in a team. They should have a proven track record and a passion for delivering effective maintenance services, including working alongside contractors on-site.
The split-day roles involve working between 07:00-16:00 or 10:00-19:00 (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday) and participating in a call-out rota with attendance expected within 2 hours. There is standby pay when scheduled on-call and payment upon attendance.
The night shift post is full-time (average of 42 hours/week) on a 4 nights on, 4 nights off pattern, including weekends and holidays. It includes a shift allowance of £4,109.78 per annum.
