Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Sales person to manage and grow the Northern Ireland territory. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with NHS trusts, private hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals to drive sales of medical equipment and surgical devices. Location Northern Ireland (Field-based / Hybrid) Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue targets. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within NHS and private healthcare sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers including surgeons, procurement managers, and department heads. Provide product demonstrations, clinical support, and training as required. Attend clinical meetings, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and maintain market presence. Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, marketing, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order delivery. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast sales, and report on territory performance. Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements. Essential Skills & Experience Proven sales experience in medical devices, surgical products, or healthcare equipment. Strong understanding of NHS procurement and private healthcare buying processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage a field-based territory. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts. Desirable Skills Clinical background or experience working alongside surgeons / clinical teams. Experience selling into NHS Trusts and private hospitals. Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance in medical device sales. Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent (desirable but not essential). Relevant medical/clinical or sales qualification is advantageous.
