The Role:
Position: KS1 Teacher – Long Term
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Southampton
Contract: Full-time, ongoing (potential for permanent placement)
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
You’ll be taking responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class, delivering engaging lessons, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. The school has a supportive SLT and offers a collaborative approach to planning and teaching.
We’re Looking For:
A Qualified Teacher (QTS) with KS1 classroom experience
A confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
Someone who is passionate about delivering engaging, child-centred lessons
A team player who is committed to contributing to the wider school community
Experience with phonics (e.g., Little Wandle or Read Write Inc) is a plus
