Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Event Medic located in Birmingham. The Event Medic will be responsible for providing professional medical and first aid services at various events. Responsibilities include assessing and treating medical emergencies, supporting the safety of event attendees, managing medical equipment supplies, and liaising with event organizers to ensure a safe and risk-aware environment. The medic will work in diverse settings, including festivals, sporting events, and public or private gatherings.
Qualifications
* Strong medical knowledge and practice in Medicine, Treatment, and first aid protocols
* Experience or knowledge in specialized areas such as Cardiology and Neurology
* Familiarity with orthopedic care and basic orthopedic injury management
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide compassionate patient care
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with event teams and fellow medics
* Current certifications relevant to first aid or emergency medical services
* Experience working in event or emergency environments, with risk-awareness being a plus
