Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner will be a highly detail-oriented individual. This role is responsible for developing both short and long-term maintenance plans, maximizing operation profit, equipment reliability and availability, and collaboration with supervisors and area coordinators.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
* Developing both short and long-term maintenance plans on new and existing assets.
* Maximizing operating profit, equipment reliability, and availability through planned maintenance.
* Collaborating with supervisors and area coordinators to maintain compliance with the GCAA Asset Management Framework.
* Administering computer-based site maintenance system (SAP) to enable safe and reliable coal production.
* Using SAP to raise work orders with clear and concise written job instructions.
About you :
* Previous experience with SAP.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office.
* Formal trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering.
* Knowledge of FMECA, cost management, and budgeting.
* A proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals, and standards is crucial.
* High level of efficiency, resourcefulness, and personal organization.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
* Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
