Our client, an established and multi-accredited contractor operating within the water industry, is seeking an Estimator to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Coventry office.
Your new role
As Estimator, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates
Analysing project requirements and specifications for accurate pricing
Collaborating with the commercial team to develop competitive tender proposals
Reviewing and assessing the financial aspects of project plans
Providing insight and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies
Assisting in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
Previous experience estimating within heavy civils
Strong understanding of pricing and tendering processes
Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Full UK driving licence.
