About the Role
This is a fixed‑term position until July 2026 working full‑time. We are seeking a dynamic HR professional dedicated to delivering innovative people solutions that enhance performance and align with the university’s vision. In this role you will collaborate with the wider team to provide efficient, solution‑oriented People Services, working proactively and with a future‑focused approach. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to thrive in a complex environment balancing priorities while driving impactful results are essential.
The People Specialist Lead will provide proactive and reactive professional advice and delivery in all people related matters including, but not limited to, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, People Development, Equality, Remuneration, Workforce Planning and Governance. This role will work in partnership with all other People Professionals in providing an efficient and quality People Service to the University. This is a unique fixed‑term opportunity to make a meaningful difference to our people and our organisation. Interviews are planned for the week commencing 19th January.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 ‑ A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases such as thank you, please, etc. Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1‑hour course.
