Responsibilities
* Responsible for the University of Southampton's private rented housing accreditation scheme (SASSH) in partnership with Southampton City Council and Solent University.
* Continue to build the profile of the scheme with students and landlords, delivering growth and engagement.
* Manage a schedule of property visits, ensuring accredited properties meet the required standards.
* Develop marketing opportunities and promotion for the accreditation scheme that improves landlord and student engagement.
* Oversee the University's family housing offer, ensuring all statutory checks are complete and contractual issues are complied with.
* Liaise and build relationships with local purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) operators.
Our aim is to ensure that students who choose our University can be confident that there is suitable, appropriate accommodation available for them throughout their studies. This post is a fixed‑term appointment, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Interviews will be in‑person in Southampton, likely during the week of 3 November 2025.
