We’re looking for a brilliant Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across primary schools in Lewisham. You’ll work 1:1 and in small groups with children who need extra help managing behaviour and emotions—building trust, boosting confidence, and helping them feel safe and ready to learn.
This role is perfect for someone who’s calm under pressure, great at building relationships, and passionate about making a real difference every single day.
What your day might include:
* Supporting pupils in the classroom, during transitions, and at break times
* Implementing and adapting behaviour plans
* Collaborating with SENCOs and pastoral staff
* Being a steady, positive influence in the school day
You’ll need:
* Experience working with children, ideally in schools or youth settings
* Confidence managing behaviour in a primary setting
* A patient, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or we’ll help you apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
