Salary: From £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

As a Pharmacist at our York Hospital, you will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have proven post-qualification experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work closely with patients and a variety of clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital.
2. Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where needed.
3. Offer services to various departments, including pre-assessment, outpatient, ward, and theatres.
4. Participate in mandatory and other training as required by Nuffield Health.
5. Participate in on-call clinical advice.
6. Advise the hospital on the safe management of medicines, ensuring compliance with current legislation and standards.
7. Plan, deliver, and evaluate pharmaceutical care to meet patient needs and ensure efficient workflow.
8. Provide advice and support to consultants.
9. Work closely with nurses on the ward.
10. Provide advice to patients face-to-face or over the phone.
11. Manage clinical and other checks within the dispensary and act as responsible pharmacist.
12. Participate in data collection and audits.
