Position Overview- Part-Time Cleaner
We have recently invested heavily in our modern waterside office and yard, creating a high-quality working environment for our team and visitors. We are now seeking a dependable and conscientious in-house Cleaner to help us maintain these unique facilities. This individual will play a key role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and care across our premises, ensuring they remain a safe, welcoming, and professional space at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across all office areas.
* Empty waste bins and replace liners in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
* Clean and sanitise kitchen facilities, including sinks, worktops, appliances, and cupboard exteriors.
* Maintain washroom cleanliness, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
* Ensuring towels from the washrooms and kitchen areas are washed and dried using the in-house laundry services.
* Clear down and sanitise communal areas and meeting rooms.
* Restock kitchen and cleaning supplies as required.
* Monitor the condition of office areas and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the relevant manager.
* Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are stored safely and used in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a cleaning, facilities, or caretaker role
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
* Understanding of safe handling and storage of cleaning products (COSHH training provided if required).
Working Hours
Fifteen hours per week spread across the five weekdays at a rate of £15.00 per hour
