Job Description:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated and friendly Front of House team as a Customer Services Officer.
The post holder will act as the first point of call for students, enquirers, visitors to the College, and staff, demonstrating excellent customer care, communication, and organisational skills.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of data within the front of house experience and be able to handle enquiries, applications, and enrolments for courses available at Bradford College. The post involves direct interaction with students and visitors at Reception, within the One Stop Shop, or other student-facing locations.
This is a Fixed Term position for 18 months, working part-time for 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday until 12 pm.
Please note that this role will primarily be based at our Bowling Back Lane site but will require flexibility to work at other sites as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide a warm, friendly service to students, staff, enquirers, and visitors, processing queries efficiently and signposting appropriately.
* Issue temporary and replacement student and staff ID cards.
* Process and log visitors using visitor management software, ensuring they are welcomed and understand safety and safeguarding guidelines.
* Answer and log all phone data to the college.
* Manage the use of a virtual chat bot or similar for the college front of house.
* Handle customer queries received via the college email(s).
* Log and process lost property.
* Follow up on queries to maximize conversions to applications and enrolments.
* Improve data input accuracy and quality continually.
* Utilize Management Information Systems to input and access data, maintaining GDPR compliance.

Education & Training
* GCSE 4-9 (A*-C) or a nationally recognized level 2 qualification in Maths or equivalent (CSE 1, O Level A-C).
* GCSE 4-9 (A*-C) or a nationally recognized level 2 qualification in English or equivalent.
* Proven high-level keyboard/word processing skills and good knowledge of Word, Excel, and internet use.
Experience
* Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
