Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next challenge? Want to join an exciting, forward-thinking business? Looking for an opportunity to grow and develop?

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent HR Advisor to join us on our TGJones contract in Swindon. You’ll be the on-site HR lead, supporting around 200 colleagues across warehouse and transport functions. From employee relations to engagement initiatives, you’ll be the go-to person for all things HR, working closely with managers, union reps, and central teams to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 9am and 5pm (we’re happy to flex start and finish times to suit you).

You’ll be paid a salary of between £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending upon experience. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:

* Provide generalist HR support across the site, advising managers and employees on a wide range of topics
* Lead on employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary and grievance processes
* Support the site’s talent agenda - from appraisals and succession planning to development workshops
* Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
* Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to the HR Manager
* Build strong relationships with union reps and promote a positive site culture
* Ensure compliance with employment law and GXO policies, keeping processes up to date


What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment, ideally within logistics, manufacturing or similar
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies and employee relations
* CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or working towards)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
* A proactive, organised approach and the confidence to manage your own workload
* Experience working with unions, payroll or time & attendance systems is a bonus
