Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Roofing Site Supervisor on behalf of a leading roofing contractor. This role will be based on a large warehouse project in the Filton area and is available for an immediate start.
Our client is a specialist roof refurbishment contractor operating nationwide, delivering roofing repair and renewal projects across the commercial, industrial, retail, and education sectors.
Hours of work are 8 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday
Requirements
* SSSTS certification (essential)
* IPAF certification (preferred but not essential)
* Previous experience supervising roofing, cladding, or construction projects
* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site compliance
* Ability to effectively coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site activities
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations and workforce activities
* Review project plans, specifications, and work schedules
* Coordinate roofing teams, subcontractors, and material deliveries
* Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with site regulations
* Carry out quality inspections and monitor workmanship standards
* Supervise roof deck preparation and installation activities
* Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates to management
Scope of Works
The successful candidate will oversee the installation and inspection of:
* Flashing systems and fittings
* Sash windows
* Metal roofing panels and associated roofing systems
* Insulation and vapour barrier installations
* Roof drainage systems, including gutters, outlets, and down pipes
* Skylights, roof hatches, and roof penetrations
