Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity
We are offering a 6-month fixed term or secondment opportunity to cover a substantive post holder’s secondment leave.
Secondment Details
Existing permanent employees interested in this secondment must first discuss the opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form available on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages. The form must be signed by the line manager and taken to the interview as confirmation of approval.
Candidate Requirements
You should have a degree or significant experience in a related subject, along with a postgraduate diploma or qualification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2 or equivalent). We seek a highly effective team player with energy, enthusiasm, and experience working across professional and organizational boundaries.
The role requires a self-starter capable of working proactively and autonomously to develop innovative healthcare solutions, often involving clinically-led projects and collaboration with industry, academia, and funding bodies.
Experience and Skills
Successful project delivery experience, adeptness at planning and managing innovation projects, and the ability to foster collaborative working across stakeholders are essential. Knowledge of change management and innovation in a complex, evolving landscape is desirable.
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will need to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
