What You’ll Do
* Lead and mentor the Elected Member Services Team to deliverresponsive and professional support
* Provide expert advice to Elected Members on their roles,responsibilities, and entitlements
* Oversee governance functions including allowances,training, travel, and reporting
* Manage the Council Portal, citizenship ceremonies, andcivic awards programs
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhancefacilities and service delivery
* Contribute to local government reform initiatives andCouncil election processes
About You
You’re a confident leader with a deep understanding oflocal government and a passion for public service. You’llbring:
* Proven experience leading teams in a governance orpolitical environment
* Strong knowledge of the Local Government Act 1995 andrelated legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ahigh level of attention to detail
* Discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive andconfidential matters
* A collaborative mindset and ability to build strongrelationships across all levels
