Midwife - Maternity Services at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
Maternity services at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust are undergoing transformational change aligned with the Single Delivery Plan and initiatives to address health inequalities, particularly for women and birthing individuals from Black, Asian, deprived backgrounds, and high-risk groups.
Our vision supports national and Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) goals. We seek an exceptional midwife to join our team to ensure compliance with external and internal performance indicators, including the NHSR Maternity Incentive Scheme, CQC requirements, screening KPIs, and national maternity reviews.
The post holder will be a key member of the Director of Midwifery's office, reporting to the Lead Midwife for Governance and Quality. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the Single Delivery Plan, developing quality improvement plans, managing risks and issues, and ensuring ongoing quality assurance for actions arising from national reviews, the maternity incentive scheme, patient safety, and governance workstreams.
The role requires effective stakeholder management across departments and external forums, and participation in the senior midwifery manager on-call rota.
