We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented MFL Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate linguist to inspire students and promote a love of languages and cultural understanding. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as an MFL Teacher:
* Teach one or more modern foreign languages (e.g. French, Spanish, German) across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ language skills, confidence, and cultural awareness.
* Assess, track, and monitor progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners.
* Encourage active participation through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.
* Contribute to extracurricular opportunities, such as language clubs, trips, and cultural events.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of the languages department.
Ideal MFL Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as an MFL Teacher.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
