Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Plumbing & Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing and drainage systems across various sites. This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, ensuring systems meet safety standards, and delivering quality solutions in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend sites to identify plumbing and drainage issues and rectify problems effectively.
* Perform routine inspections and maintain plumbing systems including sinks, pipes, toilets, and drainage.
* Undertake installation, maintenance, and repair of bathroom fixtures, pumps, valves, and related systems.
* Conduct water flow tests, CCTV surveys, and underground leak detections.
* Design drainage layouts and specify suitable materials and equipment, following safety and environmental standards.
* Repair and maintain guttering, drainpipes, manholes, and underground water mains.
* Keep detailed records, complete invoices, and fill out job sheets accurately.
* Maintain and check equipment and tools, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
* Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Effective communication skills and customer interaction ability.
* Valid full UK driving license.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in plumbing or drainage work with a strong knowledge of plumbing systems.
* Basic understanding of water and sewage systems, with competency in unblocking drains and CCTV survey techniques.
* Ability to read plans and maps, and navigate efficiently across the designated region.
* Experience with construction site work and working with different teams preferred.
