An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full‑time Administrative Support to join the Renal Department within the Medicine Division. The position is full‑time Monday‑Friday 8am‑4pm and the role is on‑site only based at Royal Preston Hospital.
Responsibilities: Provide Administrative & Clerical support to the Medical Secretaries and Support Secretaries within the department and handle a wide range of duties including:
* Dealing with patient queries
* Managing post and filing
* Taking prescriptions to pharmacy
* Retrieving information
* Using electronic patient record systems
* Downloading clinical letters as required
Required experience and skills: Ideally have previous experience in hospital administration, demonstrate flexibility in working relationships, possess strong customer service and communication skills and excellent organisational attention to detail. Knowledge of office procedures is essential. Full training will be provided, offering the opportunity to grow new skills and use your initiative as a member of a busy team.
